Who We Are
At Gold Vine ABA, we believe in being the place “Where Every Family’s Journey Takes Root.” We are a family-owned, BCBA-led organization providing high-quality, compassionate care to children ages 2–14. In an industry currently dominated by private-equity groups stretching clinicians thin, we do things differently. Because we are clinician-led, we measure our success by the clinical outcomes of our students and the career fulfillment of our team—not by volume metrics.
Why Practicing with Gold Vine is Different
As a BCaBA, working in a school contract setting can often feel like being stranded on an island—caught between rigid school systems and a distant agency that only reaches out for billing logs. At Gold Vine, we provide a true clinical home:
-
Year-Round Income Stability: The biggest drawback of school positions is the unpaid calendar breaks. We eliminate that anxiety by providing continuous hours and placement options summer breaks to ensure your income remains stable.
-
Local Locations: You will be assigned to a a few schools or homes within a 30 minute radius. All travel time is paid, and we will keep you as localized as possible.Â
-
Elevated BCaBA Mentorship: We don't just check the box on your mandatory supervision hours. You will work hand-in-hand with our active BCBA owners, gaining deep clinical development, advanced behavioral assessment training, and real professional mentorship.
-
90-Day Mentorship: Stepping into an educational environment takes strategy. We provide enhanced administrative support, school-specific workflow training, and team onboarding during your first 90 days so you can build rapport with teachers and staff seamlessly.
What You’ll Do
As a School-Based BCaBA, you will serve as the on-site clinical lead for your assigned campus, bridging the gap between behavior analysis and the educational environment.
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) and behavioral intakes within elementary school settings under BCBA oversight.
- Develop, monitor, and refine individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to classroom success.
- Provide direct, on-site supervision, behavior skills training (BST), and clinical support to school-based RBTs.
- Run direct therapy sessions, focus on school-based social skills development, and provide collaborative consultation to classroom teachers and school staff.
- Monitor student progress through strict data review, graphs, and timely treatment plan updates.
- Maintain absolute compliance with BACB guidelines, school district standards, and ethical behavior practices.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Active Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification in good standing with the BACB.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Ability to successfully clear standard Florida Level 2 background screenings and school district credentialing steps.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills—you must be comfortable translating behavioral strategies into simple, actionable terms for classroom teachers and parents.
- Absolute reliability; you understand how much the school routines and RBT team rely on your leadership.
Preferred:
- Prior experience navigating IEP meetings, exceptional student education (ESE) structures, or classroom dynamics.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
